Beginners Cheerleading Classes

A great introduction to cheerleading, this beginners cheerleading class is held at the famous Pineapple Dance Studios in London. The beginners classes cover a range of different elements of cheerleading and you do not need to have done cheerleading before as it is a drop in class for complete beginners. You will be taught by a UKCA or BCA qualified cheerleading coach, who will take you through the basics of cheers and chants, then in the second half of the lesson you'll have a chance to learn fabulous pom pon dance routines to chart music such as Britney, Pussycat Dolls, Girls Aloud and Katie Perry.

You can also have a go at stunting (the part in Cheerleading where you lift each other up) for complete beginners in an informal and friendly class. You will be shown basic stunting techniques and then work in groups to build impressive stunts. It is great exercise and whatever your ability, you are guaranteed to have fun.

Beginners cheerleading lessons for adults are held on Saturdays 12.00 - 1pm at Pineapple Dance Studios, Langley St, Covent Garden, London.

No need to book, just drop by. The cost is £6 to pay to the teacher at the start of the Cheerleading Lesson. (If you are not a member of Pineapple Dance Studios you will also need to pay £4 day membership to Pineapple Reception.)

There are NO cheerleading classes on Bank holiday weekends

Private Classes

For groups of 6 or more, it is usually worth booking a private class as we cannot reserve places in the drop in classes for group bookings. We offer private classes to larger groups who book in advance. You can choose the date and time, plus we can design the class to cover the elements of cheerleading that you would like to learn.
