| Filming Channel 5's Big Brother Promo
By Leana With the new series of Celebrity Big Brother due to launch on Channel 5 this summer, the big bosses at Ch5 had big ideas for an extravagant television promo with a fun, festival feel! So of course, they hired the Pineapple Cheerleaders to add a bit of sparkle to Big Brother because no event would be complete without our high kicks and Pom Pons! When we arrived on set, the location was buzzing! As well as lots of cast and crew, the venue was filled to the brim with celebs! It was a rainy summer’s day, but we were not going to let that dampen our cheerleader spirit! We Pineapple Cheerleaders knew straight away it was going to be really fun... |

| MTV Hellcats Cheerleaders
by Kim “Hellcats Let me hear you shout... Get your pom poms out!” OMG I love MTV’s new programme ‘Hellcats’ so when Pineapple Cheerleaders were hired to be the UK’s Hellcats Cheerleaders and launch the show at ‘Move It’ the biggest dance event in the UK, you could say we were just a little excited! We arrived at Move It Olympia and the queue to get in was so long, luckily as the Hellcats Cheerleaders we were escorted into the event through the artists entrance and straight to the back stage area. |

ITV1's 'Red or Black?' Cheerleaders By Emma When I say Red, you say Black! When I say Pineapple, you say Cheerleaders! After the amazing cheer-tastic time we had performing on X Factor with One Direction last year, we couldn’t have been happier when we heard that Syco wanted to hire 12 of the Pineapple Cheerleaders back for their brand new, ITV 1 prime-time Game Show hosted by Ant & Dec! Fantastic we couldn't wait to be the official Red or Black Cheerleaders. We were totally right to be hyped up about this as it turned out to be another fabulous week in the lives of the PC’s! When we arrived we were ushered straight to our private 'Red or Black' Cheerleaders dressing room (opposite Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas - Cheer bonus!) |

| Dancing on the X-Factor!!! By Holly
PC's have the X-Factor! That's right - it’s American week on the X-Factor and who better than the Pineapple Cheerleaders to set the scene!? On the first day of rehearsals we arrived at Fountain studios bright and early and were escorted in past the hoards teenage fans and paparazzi mounted on ladders, trying to get a glimpse over the studio walls. A group of girls had just scrawled the words ONE DIRECTION on the side of the wall. ‘Who are you dancing with?’ they screeched at us. ‘Your favourites’ we cheered back which made them scream with excitement. |

| Renault World series at Silverstone
By Kim “let’s go Renault fans let me hear you in the stands, yell go, go, go Renault go!” Our road trip began after a fantastic final rehearsal. The girls came to my house, we collected the Mercedes and set off on our little adventure. As cheerleaders we thrive on fun so decided to play a few tricks to entertain ourselves on our journey. We told the other car that they had gone to a completely wrong hotel and they sooooooooo believed us hehe... On arrival we unpacked fast and soon headed out for a lovely meal. |

| Katy Perry Gig
By Sarah OMG – I just had a pillow fight with Katy Perry!!! We were invited onto the Scott Mills Show to challenge Katy Perry to a ‘cheer off’. But little did we know that we would end up in a huge pillow fight with Katy Perry and Scott Mills live on Radio One. We could hardly wait as we arrived at Radio 1 in a black Mercedes - sent to personally pick us up like true A-listers! The Pineapple Cheerleaders had been booked to appear on 'You control Katy Perry' and we had no idea what was in store for us once we got on air... Needless to say we were all so excited to meet Scott and Katy. |

| Elephant Charity Event
By Kim Did you see all the elephants dotted around London this summer? They were amazing! Which is why I was so looking forward to this evenings event. It was an auction to help raise money to save the elephants, which is such a good cause as I love elephants and it's really important to protect such an elephantastic animal. We arrived at Concrete bar in Shoreditch a little bit wet as it was pouring down with rain, but in true PC style we wouldn’t let a little bit of rain dampen our spirits. |

Performing at Thorpe Park By Emma 9 cheerleaders, 11 days, and 88 performances – The PC’s are celebrating summer at Thorpe Park! Our gig at Thorpe Park’s Sun Scream festival was an exciting one! We were hired by sponsors of the event, Dr Pepper, to perform in an audience interaction show based around the catch phrase ‘what’s the worst that can happen’. Ha ha! Fantastic – we basically had to perform one of our hit routines, then encourage members of the unsuspecting crowd to get up on stage and perform alongside us Pineapple Cheerleaders – would you be brave enough? ; ) |

| Ascot Shergar Cup 201 0 By Emma, Rossella & Sarah Everyone agreed that last year’s Shergar cup was a huge success. So how to improve on it this year? More cheerleaders of course!!! We were delighted when Ascot decided to hire the Pineapple Cheerleaders not only to cheer on the races and perform for the crowd, but also to model with the jockeys and to provide cheerleading workshops for the children. So, here’s how one of our biggest, busiest events of the year went down! |
