Sunday Night Project TV Trailer Shoot

By Brooke

OMG today was such fun! Knew shooting with Justin & Alan was going to be crazy but had no idea what was in store. Started at 6.30am at Channel 4 studios where in a mini van picked up 16 cheerleaders (lucky driver) and drove us to an amazing country manor house outside London. The sun was shining and the location was gorgeous - perfect for the ad. Two hours for hair & make up for 16 girls was cutting it fine esp. as there were only two make up artists but we did it in time as always, and everyone looked hot. Got on set & first thing we saw was Alan Carr walking around in an exact replica of our uniform! He looked fabulous although we had to lend him a pair of legwarmers to complete the Pineapple Cheerleaders look. It was so funny, he loved being one of the squad girls!

Time to shoot and it suddenly began to pour… and we were filming outside! Can’t tell you more about the ad as it’s top secret but it involved dancing to Bon Jovi’s ‘Living on a prayer’ with Alan suspended above us, and Justin running around with a machine gun. The funniest part of the day had to be when someone suggested adding a wind machine – not great when you’re outside and it’s pouring with rain and freezing cold. Of course the second it was turned on, all of our skirts blew up and our hair went crazy but we had to look like glamorous rock stars! Luckily it was an 80’s style rock routine so our big hair actually looked quite sexy – or so the crew kept telling us! We finally wrapped at about 8pm and were back on the minibus to London – with Bon Jovi on repeat the whole way home (guess that driver’s not so lucky after all)!
