By Heather Have you ever wondered what it would be like to do a photo shoot with an A-list celebrity for one of Britain’s top celebrity and gossip magazines? Well the Pineapple Cheerleaders found out this week when we were asked to do a shoot for Now magazine with none other than Dizzee Rascal! Take the Pineapple Cheerleaders, a stretched hummer and a top rapper, song writer and record producer, and you’ve got the recipe for one amazing, fun filled shoot! :-)We were welcomed to Sky Studios by the crew who were busy creating an immense scene for the shoot, the hummer was huge and music blared, it was electrifying! Dizzee was thrilled to discover we were professional cheerleaders and loved hearing about the work we have done at Silverstone for Race of Champions, Lords Cricket Ground and our amazing parties at Volstead nightclub, to name but a few! He asked how we kept in such great shape and was impressed by our intense rehearsal schedule. It’s all part and parcel of being a Pineapple Cheerleader! There wasn’t time to soak up the atmosphere for long it was time to ‘fix up look sharp’ and have our make up and hair done in our own private dressing area by a top make up artist. Bronzed and hair sprayed we changed into our cute cheerleading uniforms and a few dabs of lip gloss later we were ready for action! The photographer snapped away and the cameras rolled while we came up with lots of interesting poses inside and on top of the limo. Who new posing for photos could be such a good workout!? A few heel stretches and liberties later the photographer said he was thrilled with the pictures we had shot and so we filmed a short intro for the Now website, we just love being in front of the camera!! What an amazing day; Dizzee said it was the most fun he'd ever had on a shoot and that he would certainly remember it for a long time!
