Paris Hilton's Party - Cheer Diary

Paris Hilton and the Pineapple CheerleadersParis Hilton's Party

By CeCe

As cheerleaders, we pride ourselves on knowing how to have a good time. But, if there is anyone who can give the Pineapple Cheerleaders a run for their money when it comes to partying, it has to be Paris Hilton. So when we were asked to put in an appearance at her exclusive post Cannes party we knew it was going to be hot!

When we arrived, the club was rocking and the DJ played our favourite Britney tune ‘circus’ especially for us. We instantly jumped up onto our table and started freestyling, much to the delight of the guests who began queuing up to get their photo taken partying with us! We were having a fab time when the stunning Paris Hilton was ushered in to the club. She looked gorgeous in a little leopard print number.

“Hey you, listen up, we’ve got something to say, Stephen Fry in America, launches today!”

Wow, what an amazing day, the combination of Stephen Fry and Pineapple Cheerleaders proved magical! Perhaps not the first combination you would think of but together we were fabulous! Stephen Fry was in Mayfair launching his new book “Stephen Fry In America” (to go with the BBC TV series) and we were invited along to add some American Cheerleader glamour to the event. You should have seen his face when we all started cheering, kicking & doing the splits to welcome him!

FYI Launch - Cheer Diary

Pineapple Cheerleaders in the hotel roomFyi launch - Birmingham trip

By Rossella

Are you ready for a road trip? Well we certainly were! This week the Pineapple Cheerleaders travelled to the Birmingham Hilton Hotel for the launch of the new FYI make up and beauty range for Arbonne.  Arriving the day before the launch party, we were shown to our individual suites. After an intense rehearsal session & tech run through on the main stage…the sauna, jacuzzi and wonderful pool awaited!  Of course some we turned some  heads when making our way to the spa and especially in the pool where we all thought it was a good idea to do heel stretches in the water…we cant help it… we love to stretch  ;-) !

Electric Birdcage Social - Cheer Diary

Drinking Champagne at Electric BirdcageElectric Birdcage Social

By Julia

Last night, we were chauffeured over to the Electric Birdcage for the Fashionaires Anniversary party. The theme was ‘Circus’ (very Britney!) and so we were surrounded by jugglers, circus entertainers and even Marie Antoinette courtesans! Fortunately, we were dressed up in our cheer uniforms so were quickly ushered past the doormen and then settled onto our own table. Our entrance had caused quite a stir with the guests and so for the next 30 minutes we posed for the photographers and met our hosts who, knowing our fondness for Moet, kindly sent three bottles to our table! Well, you can’t say no, can you?!

2009 Auditions Experience - Cheer Diary

2009 Auditions

By Aimee

Auditions time again! We always have a squad girl on the judging panel for auditions and this time the coaches asked me to do it. The standard of those who had got through to the audition was high and from the start I could see some stars in the making.  More and more people want to audition for our fab squad! And who can blame them, last year was fantastic, with some very high profile gigs- Race of Champions, Sunday Night Project trailer, High School Musical Show...to name a few. The word is out - Pineapple Cheerleaders rock and everyone wants to be one ;o) not to blow our own trumpet...hehe.

By Michelle

Just finished 2 exhausting days of filming for the new Pizza Hut Ad, it was all v.exciting!! The client wanted a carnival theme and so who better to turn to than the Pineapple Cheerleaders. We were called in to help create a celebratory mood and that's exactly what we did. It was just one big party and the Pineapple Cheerleaders were leading the fun. We had to dance on a spectacular glitter covered carnival float while show girls, majorettes, stilt walkers and even a marching band danced around us!

Sunday Night Project Shoot - Cheer Diary

Sunday Night Project TV Trailer Shoot

By Brooke

OMG today was such fun! Knew shooting with Justin & Alan was going to be crazy but had no idea what was in store. Started at 6.30am at Channel 4 studios where in a mini van picked up 16 cheerleaders (lucky driver) and drove us to an amazing country manor house outside London. The sun was shining and the location was gorgeous - perfect for the ad. Two hours for hair & make up for 16 girls was cutting it fine esp. as there were only two make up artists but we did it in time as always, and everyone looked hot. Got on set & first thing we saw was Alan Carr walking around in an exact replica of our uniform! He looked fabulous although we had to lend him a pair of legwarmers to complete the Pineapple Cheerleaders look. It was so funny, he loved being one of the squad girls!
